The Db2 SQL Procedure Language (SQL / PL) platform-independent Stored Procedures (SP) and User-Defined Functions (UDF) can be developed, which significantly extend the “normal” SQL functionality.
This topic is not only interesting for developers, but also database administrators can simplify and automate tasks by using self-developed procedures and functions.
The documents for the workshop are in German and on the most up-to-date Db2 stand – by means of exercises the theory is practically implemented.
- Software developers and database administrators
The topics at a glance
- SQL PL overview
- IBM Data Studio overview
- SQL PL development and debugging with IBM Data Studio
