New Db2 training: Db2 Security

Dear Sir or Madam,

As a new topic in our Db2 LUW Workshop series, we exclusively offer a 2-day training on Db2 Security this year. Db2 databases have often evolved over years and Db2 versions. At the latest since the entry into force of the GDPR last year, it is time to highlight the existing security concepts and put them to the test. For new database environments, a comprehensive security concept must be “on board” right from the start. The individual components of Db2 Security are the focus of this course. From user authentication to db2 authorities to role concept, trusted context, encryption techniques, and Db2 Audit critical process logging, this course covers all security-related details. At the end of the workshop, a checklist is used again, which of the topics presented can or should be implemented, especially in the context of data protection regulations (DSGVO, …). This course offers the prerequisite to be able to create a solid Db2 security concept.

In our practice-oriented workshop , you will learn about the concepts and objects of the Db2 security mechanisms as well as implementation procedures.

By means of exercises, the theory is practically implemented.
