What to do if db2 does not work as expected? This is the central question that this course seeks to solve. “Help for self-help” gives you this course. In addition to precautionary measures – because the best problem is that which does not occur at all – the various error logging options and associated tools are shown in Db2. On the basis of real problem cases, the procedure, analysis and solutions are discussed. The documents for the workshop are in German and up to date – exercises are used to put the theory into practice.

Administrators and application developers who want to detect and fix problems in Db2 database systems.

Objective:

In this hands-on course the participants will learn the procedure, Db2 concepts and the most important tools for error analysis. On the basis of practical examples it will be taught how to interpret the various Db2 error protocols and how to correct errors. The participants are then able to independently analyze a problem situation and come to a solution.
