This technical workshop is for IBM Business Partners. It provides training on IBM DB2 for Linux, UNIX, and Windows in a classroom setting. Detailed presentations and hands-on labs are included where attendees will gain in-depth knowledge of exciting new features including:
- DB2 product overview
- DB2 installation concepts, planning, and configuration
- pureXML
- Range partitioning
- Data compression
- Label-based access control
- DB2 autonomics feature: Self-tuning memory manager
- Workload manager
- IBM solidDB Cache for DB2
The presentations also cover other related technologies, products, and offerings including IBM Data Studio, IBM solidDB, and IBM InfoSphere Balanced Warehouse.
Business Partners with applications that currently run on DB2 for Linux, UNIX, and Windows or who are new to DB2 can benefit from this workshop by learning how DB2 can help add value to your solutions and extend your market opportunities.
